jeet kar bhi haar gaye? did we lose even after winning?

Even though some of us have done well in our previous role over the past 10 to 15 years as students, a few of us really well enough to be rank holders be it university rank holders or school level, those we used to think were losers are now pursuing there careers in the west while we are working for services companies which get works from BIG companies which in all possibility employ such ‘losers’. We may end up working for people who we termed losers. Sometimes I get the feeling, why did I do what all I did, why didn’t I do it differently like the others. Why did we waste our lives trying to get top marks only to waste life again and I don’t like the lines or believe in “sabar ka phal meetha hota hai” or something else in other languages. One may say you are working while the others are still studying – but the point is he may come out of a college in US next year and his first months salary will outweigh mine 10:1, so what I earn in 2 really hard years, choking and fighting with gundarici and puttu kadala in coconut oil, he may do it in 2 months with a ham burger in his mouth. Still the amount of awe he would generate is far more, people would hardly look at me. “ Two years in IT industry and he still hasn’t gone onsite , arey even munna who has done production engineering from vasool raja college has gone to amrica twice now, there is something wrong with this guy, hmm .. people said he was good in his studies, come to think of it, he might have copied in his exams, then how would you explain such a ‘brilliant boy in school and college’ not to have gone onsite or gone for higher studies’ ? is the question people are going to ask in a few days.

Unfortunately we don’t have an answer which would satisfy all. All we can say is we are working in the ‘hottest technology’ and our team is working on one of the biggest es o see’s :-).

rama...kalakkita po..u have echo-ed all our thoughts...the thing in life is we should never be "average" or "in-between" kind of ppl..either a porukki or a "scientist" kind of guy..or we should be really lucky .. if none of this is satisfied, we shd not work in a services company..

rama ..u have brought by words what every ones heart wanted to say.infact i have seen a lot of instances where the losers in school and college are flourishing. the winners are struggling. infact many of them workin in outdated technologies are still going onsite. people with no technical background are given onsite opportunities.Eventhough people may call themself as winners by getting a rank in their ciollege or university the fact is that they have lost the battle of life.
